Western North Carolina is globally known for its serene and tranquil Blue Ridge Mountains, which are among the oldest in the world. Situated as the urban hub of the region, Asheville lends itself as one of the primary cultural centers of the southeast and a renowned travel destination with 12 million annual visitors. The city prides itself as a haven for the outdoor lifestyle, vibrant cuisine, and laid back yet innovative and cosmopolitan attitude. For these reasons and more, Christian is content to call Asheville home.

Originally from northeastern Ohio, Christian proudly grew up in an Air Force family – an upbringing hallmarked by frequent moves around the United States, and which instilled resiliency and adaptability from exposure to the rich diversity of places that make up our country. He embraced Asheville as his adopted hometown in 2010 and has never looked back. Many of Christian’s clients share the same excitement as they forge their own paths towards new possibilities in the mountains.

Christian has diligently worked face-to-face with the public throughout his life. Getting his start as a middle school paperboy in Olympia, Washington, he proceeded to work his way through college at Gap Inc. stores prior to serving for a decade in professional roles in social services and healthcare administration. Christian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Dakota, a graduate certification in Healthcare Innovation Management from Western Carolina University, and a commission as a North Carolina Notary Public. He also enjoys serving on the Board of Directors for his community association.

Christian earned his real estate broker’s license in 2019 and spent three years working alongside his teammate, mentor, colleague, and real estate veteran, Rob Montague, as the Positive Altitude Team. Equipped with the tools and skills learned from a seasoned broker like Rob, Christian embarked as an independent agent in 2022, and his unyielding commitment to helping clients achieve their real estate goals is a testament to his constant desire to learn, grow, and evolve. Client success is always at the forefront of Christian’s approach to real estate.

Living in such a beautiful place with an abundance of new things to explore, Christian is passionate about enjoying life in Asheville. He leads an active life as a runner, hiker, and paddleboarder – along with a penchant for traveling, standup comedy, local music & theater, baking, and spending time with his widely dispersed family. He is grateful for his husband, Rocky, and little Boston Terrier, Walter, for accompanying him on life’s journey.
