Negotiator, Positivity, Empathy, Forward Thinker, Includer
Yes, a Realtor named Crook! It gets better…..I have a degree in Criminal Justice! What can I say, that was the name I was given!
I grew up near the beach in Dunedin, Fl and attended Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Fun fact, as a freshman moving in, I owned only 1 pair of jeans and didn’t have a winter coat! That changed in a hurry for this Florida native!
After studying the private areas of the Criminal Justice field, I moved to the Boston area and worked briefly as private investigator. I lucked into a sales job and shifted my career to corporate sales. I found that I had a knack for sales and loved the personal interaction with clients.
Before long, the magical mountains of Western North Carolina were calling me back to the place I now call home! Living in Asheville since the late summer of 2000 has been amazing. I currently live in an 100 year old farm house that has been restored and updated. I have a had a flock of chickens for over 10 years and love being able to collect fresh eggs for breakfast!
After purchasing my first home in 2004, I decided to embark on a real estate career! What a journey it has been! I love watching clients walk into a house and both agree that this is the place for them to call home! A lot has changed in the real estate world since 2005, but I’ve remained steady in making sure my clients are protected and cared for while they make the largest purchase of their lives!
Early in my real estate career, I began coaching T-ball for my son Camden. I loved coaching and I’ve since tried to take that approach to selling real estate. With nearly 20 years of experience, I enjoy coaching clients about the steps of real estate and help them guide them throughout the process! I am the Real Estate Coach!
